Board Welcomes Director of Ohio Department of Mental Health

The guest speaker at our 25th Annual Behavioral Health Care Recognition Dinner was Tracy Plouck, the new Director of the Ohio Department of Mental Health. Tracy brings a strong background in leadership and advocacy to her new role as Director. Most recently, she held the position of Medicaid Director for the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. In previous years, Tracy has also served as the Deputy Director for Medicaid at the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, Assistant Deputy Director for Policy and Operations with the ODJFS Office of Ohio Health Plans, and Senior Budget Analyst for Human Services at the State’s Office of Budget and Management. Tracy also volunteers on the HelpLine of Delaware and Morrow Counties serving people with mental health and substance abuse problems. Tracy holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Kent State University.

Board CEO, Jim Adams said, “Tracy brings a fresh perspective to our field and we look forward to working with her.”
