As suicide among teens increases the Geauga County Board of Mental Health & Recovery Services has decided to take an active role in our community for today's youth. The Teen Suicide Prevention Pilot Program has been started at West Geauga High School.

This program has trained teens to go into the classrooms and teach teens to recognize the signs of depression and to know when to get help, what resources are available and who can help them.

This program was started in the hopes of helping more students realize that they are not alone and help is available.

For more information call 440-285-3945.
