National Red Ribbon Week

National Red Ribbon Week (October 24 – 31) is celebrated by more than 80 million people each year with individuals, families and entire communities taking a stand against drugs. “Red Ribbon Week provides an opportunity for all Geauga County residents to adopt healthy drug free lifestyles and to be vocal and visible in their efforts,” said Jim Adams, Executive Director of the Geauga County Board of Mental Health and Recovery Services. “Research shows that children are less likely to use alcohol and other drugs when parents and other role models are clear and consistent in their opposition to substance use and abuse.”
