Our speaker meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month. These are Open House meetings, the public is welcome. Bring a friend.

Most meetings are held at the Geauga County Board of Mental Health and Recovery Services, 13244 Ravenna Road, Chardon 44024 (Rt. 44 across from UHHS Geauga Hospital) at 7:00 p.m. If the anticipated audience is large we will obtain a larger facility for the meeting. Below is a list of our scheduled speakers for the next five months. For further information or to join the Geauga chapter of NAMI please call 440-285-3945.

September 16, 2010 - Learn more about Case Management, a service available to those with serious mental illness. Ravenwood Mental Health Center and Jewish Family Service Association will present.

October 21, 2010 - Dr. Patrick Enders, psychiatrist, will present on Pediatric and Adolescent Medications.

November 18, 2010 - Deanna Brant, Emergency Services Director at Ravenwood Mental Health Center will present "Assisted Outpatient Treatment - Jason's Law," a discussion of pending mental health legislation in Ohio.

December 16, 2010 - Annual NAMI Geauga Holiday Party, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Location to be announced. Bring winter cheer to your family by attending our always popular potluck!
