Mental Health Services

The services listed below are funded by the Geauga County Board of Mental Health & Recovery Services. Click on the services you are interested in for more information on that service and a connection to the agency that offers it.

Outpatient Services for mental health are provided by both Catholic Charities Community Services, Ravenwood Mental Health Center and WomenSafe, Inc.

Catholic Charities Community Services is dedicated to helping families and individuals heal, strengthen and enrich their valued relationships for effective and healthy living. Our services are provided to anyone in need regardless of gender, race, religion or national origin.

Ravenwood Mental Health Center provides comprehensive behavioral health and substance abuse services to residents of Geauga County, Ohio and surrounding communities. Services are provided from a consumer driven perspective, utilizing best practice models within a framework which promotes recovery and resiliency.

WomenSafe, Inc.'s mission is to provide emergency shelter and support services for survivors of domestic violence throughout Northeast Ohio. WomenSafe is a non-profit organization that offers information, counseling, education, referrals and support to victims of domestic violence.

Housing - Ravenwood Mental Health Center provides a continuum of housing opportunities to best meet individual need and preference in the least restrictive setting for Geauga County Residents who have a severe mental illness.

Employment Services - Supported Employment assists mental health consumers in obtaining and maintaining employment. Ravenwood strongly believes that being employed can significantly increase the potential for recovery.

Services offered include activities and therapies which restore and improve a person's ability to function in work settings. The goal of these services is to support a person's ability to perform in the workplace by developing or increasing their knowledge, skills and capabilities. Supported Employment emphasizes the importance of consumer preferences, a rapid job search, and competitive job goals.
