GEAUGA COUNTY BOARD OF MENTAL HEALTH AND RECOVERY SERVICES ELECTS BOARD OFFICERS

The Geauga County Board of Mental Health and Recovery Services announced the election of new officers of the Board for State Fiscal Year 2008. At their Board meeting on June 27, 2007, they unanimously elected Thomas Gazley as Chairman of the Board, Robert Goldberg as the Vice-Chairman, Alberta Chokshi as the Secretary, and Victor Matthews as Treasurer. The Board has five Board Member openings for Geauga County residents. There are two openings that the Geauga County Commissioners appoint. There is an opening for a physician and an opening for a family member that the Ohio Department of Mental Health appoints. The last opening is for a recovering person appointed by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services. Chairman - Thomas G. Gazley, Ph.D. - Psychologist

Initially appointed on January 14, 2000 by the Ohio Department of Mental Health. Reappointed on July 1, 2004.

Vice Chairman - Robert Goldberg

Initially appointed on January 13, 2003 by the County Commissioners.. Reappointed on July 1, 2005.

Treasurer - Victor Matthews
Initially appointed on April 7, 2004 by Ohio Department of Alcohol & Drug Addiction Services. Reappointed on July 1, 2005.

 

Secretary - Alberta Chokshi - Intake Administrator Clinical Team Supervisor

Initially appointed on January 13, 2003 by the Geauga County Commissioners.
